CONGRATULATIONS TO LONG-SERVING LOCAL

Thomas George, Nationals Member for Lismore, today congratulated Mr Russell Grove, the Clerk of the NSW Legislative Assembly, on his 37 years service to the NSW Parliament and over 18 years as Clerk.

Mr Grove, who was born and bred at Kyogle, commenced with the Legislative Assembly on 15 February 1971 and was appointed as Clerk on 8 September 1990.

“Congratulations to Mr Grove on this historical milestone. He is now the longest serving Clerk of the NSW Legislative Assembly.”

“I was pleased, as the Member for Lismore which includes Kyogle, to attend the surprise afternoon tea in his honour to show recognition of his commitment and dedication to the Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales,” Mr George said.
