Nationals Member for Lismore Thomas George MP today invited members of the community to register their interest in a value management workshop for a new Bruxner Highway bridge over the Clarence River at Tabulam.

Mr George said late last year Roads and Maritime Services displayed four route options for community comment.

“Community feedback, technical investigations and the outcomes from the value management workshop will form the input into the decision on the selection of the preferred option,” Mr George said.

“We are now seeking registrations of interest from the community to take part in the upcoming workshop.

“The workshop will assess each of the route options against a range of criteria and will include interested community members, government officers and technical experts.

“Once registration closes, more information about the workshop will be provided, including what’s involved before those interested commit to taking part.”

To register interest in the workshop, to be held in February 2014, contact the project team on 1800 810 680 or by email at by 30 January.

Please note that numbers for participation will be limited.
