The Nationals Member for Lismore, Thomas George MP today announced the NSW Government will deliver 13 projects at schools throughout the electorate as part of the 2014-15 Budget.

The works are scheduled to commence within the 2014/15 financial year.

These upgrades will greatly improve the learning facilities at the following schools –

Bexhill Public School – access ramps and paths
Manifold Public School – access ramps, demolish unused toilet block, upgrade existing covered outdoor learning area
Murwillumbah Public School – access upgrade
The Risk Public School – access ramps and paths
Dunoon Public School – canteen upgrade
Murwillumbah High School – replace retaining wall
Rukenvale Public School – sewer upgrade
Tabulam Public School – upgrade covered walkways & security upgrade
Dorroughby Environmental Education Centre – covered outdoor learning area
Tuntable Creek Public School - covered outdoor learning area
Blakebrook Public School – bubbler area refurbishment
Corndale Public School – toilet renovation
Lismore High School – refurbish classrooms

Funding for these projects have approved in the recent State Budget.

In 2014/15, the NSW Government is providing $400 million in capital works funding to NSW public schools.
