Work to reduce rock falls and improve safety on Summerland Way at Dingo Gully, near Kyogle will start on Monday, 14 July.

The $300,000 project includes removing large boulders and vegetation from the crest of the slope as well as improving drainage.

Work will be carried out from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays and the project is expected to take four weeks to complete, weather permitting.

One lane will remain open to traffic during most of the work but motorists should expect delays with road closures of up to 10mins at a time.

Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time, and obey all signs.
