Minister for Ageing John Ajaka and Member for Lismore Thomas George today announced that tickets to the 2014 Seniors Christmas Concerts being held at Lismore later this year were available.

The theme of the show was also announced – ‘TWAS THE MONTH BEFORE CHRISTMAS’.

“Each year, the Seniors Christmas Concerts are held for free as a gift for the hard-working and well-deserving seniors of NSW,” Mr Ajaka said.

“This is our opportunity to thank our seniors for the great contribution they have made and continue to make in our community.”

“The Seniors Christmas Concerts are always popular and I urge seniors in the Lismore region to book tickets early to avoid missing out,” Mr George said.

“It can be hard for seniors who live in Lismore to get to Sydney for the big Premier’s Seniors Week Gala Concerts in March, so this is a great opportunity to enjoy the entertainment.

“The concerts move to new regional community locations every year so this is a rare opportunity to access them in your area.”

The Seniors Christmas Concerts will be held at Churchill Auditorium, Lismore City Hall, on Wednesday 19 November 2014 at 10am and 1pm.

Tickets are available via the box office (open between 9am and 2pm on weekdays) at 1 Bounty Street, Lismore on 1300 066 772 or at
