Murwillumbah-based organic food business OZGANICS is gearing up to represent the cream of NSW fine food producers when it joins the Flavours of NSW stand at the Fine Food Australia trade show in Sydney from 20-23 September.

Member for Lismore Thomas George said OZGANICS had gained a reputation for quality organic sauces and dressings with markets in over 20 countries.

“In 1999 OZGANICS’ parent company, the Right Food Group, established the first organic sauce manufacturing facility in Australia in the Tweed Valley. Since then it has been a pioneer in the market with delicious, sustainable alternatives that are perfect for health conscious customers,” he said.

“We are proud to offer the team this chance to show off its produce to the world on the Flavours of NSW stand.

Fine Food Australia was again expected to attract around 30,000 visitors over four days including hundreds of national and overseas buyers.

“It’s the largest trade show in the southern hemisphere and a fantastic showcase for our local produce,” he said.

“The Government is investing $230,000 to support the Flavours of NSW stand at Fine Food Australia, to promote the 16 producers on the stand and give them a chance to meet international buyers to promote their unique products.”

Founding Director, Anni Brownjohn, inspired by her family’s need for healthier meals, began bottling her favourite organic sauces and dressings. Her multi award-winning OZGANICS range is now gluten and dairy free, low in salt, sugar-free and produced in a nut-free facility.

“We’re looking forward to being involved again and showing the thousands of visitors to the stand what we offer. Local and export markets are growing and we are keen to be a part of the action,” she said.

Mr George said the Flavours of NSW stand would include coffee, jams and condiments from the Mid North Coast, simmer sauces and macadamia products from the Northern Rivers, oils, vinegars and fresh fruit juices from the Hunter and Central Coast and many others.
