LOCALS RECOGNISED IN AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO PUBLIC EDUCATION
Member for Lismore Thomas George yesterday visited Tenterfield High School to congratulate local recipients of the 2015 Minister’s and Secretary’s Awards, which cover a range of categories for outstanding contributions to public education. Mr George said the annual awards recognise the achievements of outstanding teachers and students in NSW. “These awards acknowledge significant achievements within public education and affirm the high standards we have in our public schools,” Mr George said. “It’s fantastic to see this recognition of the exceptional work being done in our local schools.” Mr George has congratulated local recipients:
- Josie McIntyre, Tenterfield High School, Minister’s Award for Excellence in Student Achievement
- Helen Clothier, Tenterfield High School, Secretary's Award for Excellent Service
These annual awards are administered by the Public Education Foundation.
