NSW GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS ARTS AND CULTURE IN THE NORTHERN TABLELANDS
Local organisations and artists in the Northern Tablelands will benefit from $420,000 in NSW Government funding for the local Regional Arts Board over the next three years, Member for Lismore Thomas George announced today.
“The funding will enable Arts North West Inc to continue providing innovative arts and cultural experiences across our region,” Mr George said.
“By partnering with local councils and connecting with individual artists, arts organisations, communities and audiences, Arts North West Inc supports a diverse range of arts and cultural activities tailored to the specific needs of our region.
“Our community is renowned for artistic passion and talent and this funding ensures Arts North West Inc provides a wide range of opportunities for people to engage with arts and culture,” Mr George said.
Regional NSW has a thriving arts and cultural scene, and the Government is proud to support regional artists and organisations making valuable creative contributions to their local communities.
“Supporting arts in regional NSW is a key part of our Government’s new Create in NSW framework which guides investment and partnerships to grow a thriving arts and cultural sector for the people of NSW,” Mr George said.
