LOCAL STARS SHINE IN SCHOOLS SPECTACULAR

Member for Lismore Thomas George today congratulated local students who will showcase their talents in this year’s Schools Spectacular in the Qantas Credit Union Arena.

Mr George said students from Lismore schools will be performing, over four performances on Friday and Saturday 27 and 28 November. Schools include:

“The show thrills audiences with vibrant music and dance. It features 2000 dancers, a 1500-voice choir, an 80-piece symphony orchestra, fantastic rock, jazz, brass and marching bands and spellbinding soloists.

“Students and teachers work incredibly hard to make sure the Spectacular is a must see event and I’m sure our representatives will do an outstanding job. I wish them every success.

“This year they will really bring the house down as they have the honour of being one of the last ever shows in the arena.”

Mr George encourages anyone who can get to the Schools Spectacular to go and enjoy the show and cheer our local students.

“It’s a brilliant show,” Mr George said.

“The talents of our local students and thousands of others from across the state are truly amazing.”

Tickets are available www.ticketek.com.au for the four afternoon and evening performances on Friday and Saturday with some sessions filling fast.
