A MODERN CAMPUS CENTRE FOR TAFE AT LISMORE
Students from the Lismore TAFE Campus will see a brand new approach to student support in 2016 thanks to the latest upgrade at the North Coast TAFE's facility.
Member for Lismore Thomas George welcomed the ‘Student Central’ facility and said that it will provide support to student students through access to dedicated staff and modern technology.
“The new ‘Student Central’ will connect students to services at the Lismore TAFE Campus supporting them as they work to achieve their study goals,” Mr George said.
“This facility will link students to a range of support services, from assistance with learning difficulties to culturally specific or individual support programs at the TAFE College.
“This fantastic new facility will provide an innovative and truly student focussed approach in providing better outcomes for our students.”
Minister for Skills and Regional Development, John Barilaro said that the new addition on campus will make it easier and simpler for students to research and enquire about their ideal course, to enrol, and to access support.
“This kind of approach supports the NSW Government’s commitment to a student and employment focussed TAFE.”
‘Student Central’ facilities are being rolled out across all of North Coast TAFE’s campuses in 2016.
