Member for Lismore Thomas George today announced that free tickets for the 2016 Seniors Christmas Concerts in Lismore are now available.

The Seniors Christmas Concert, themed ‘Next Stop….Christmas’, will be held at the Lismore City Hall on Friday 25 November at 10:00am and 1:00pm.

Mr George said it is great the NSW Government is bringing the free concerts to Lismore giving locals the opportunity to enjoy the show and sing along to Christmas carols.

“The Seniors Christmas Concerts are the NSW Government’s way of saying thank you to older people in our local community who have done so much for us all,” Mr George said.

“I encourage locals who are over 60 to book their complimentary tickets so they don’t miss out.”

“The Seniors Christmas Concerts are always a sensational show, full of classic hits that we all love and enjoy,” Minister for Ageing John Ajaka said.

Free tickets are also available for Aboriginal people, 50 years or over and people with lifelong disability.

Regional and outer metropolitan locations for the 2016 Seniors Christmas Concerts change each year to make sure that seniors in different NSW communities have the chance to attend.

The 2016 Seniors Christmas Concerts are also being held in Bathurst on 21 November 2016 and Wollongong on Monday 5 December 2016.
