THOMAS’ TRADIES BREAKFAST COMES TO MURWILLUMBAH
Murwillumbah’s tradies have the chance to catch up and talk shop when Member for Lismore Thomas George hosts a free Tradies Breakfast next week.
The breakfast starting at 6.30am next Wednesday at O’Connors Carrying Service is a chance for the hard workers of Murwillumbah to come together and celebrate their successes as well as discuss current NSW Government initiatives, helping improve their operations.
Mr George said the Tweed’s tradespeople play an important role in driving the region’s economy.
“Our trades men and women are quite often the silent achievers of the business community and I am hosting this breakfast to thank them for everything they do.
“During the Tradies Breakfast at Lismore there was plenty of interest from those in industry keen to find out about new government initiatives like free TAFE trade positions, cuts to company payroll tax and ways to reduce energy costs,” Mr George said.
Similar to the recent event at Lismore, businesses have kindly thrown their support behind the event.
“I’d like to thank O’Connors Carrying Service, IGA Murwillumbah and 11TH Hour Coffee for getting up early and being part of this event.
“The Murwillumbah branch of the State Emergency Service will be conducting the BBQ, with an opportunity for those who drop in to donate to the worthwhile cause,” Mr George said.
